Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, AFC Leeuwergem's goal looked a bit too open when Jeroen Meersmans came free, but Christoph De Maijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grand-Axhe's Matthias Huijbrechts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Grand-Axhe from getting a goal against them. Jannic Jongbloedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jeroen Meersmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeroen Meersmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Christoph De Maijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoph De Maijer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeroen Meersmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Will Everts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeroen Meersmans took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoph De Maijer. Christoph De Maijer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Axel Beullens had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 38 minutes, Leo Van Cauwenbergh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Leeuwergem and the Grand-Axhe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leo Van Cauwenbergh hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After the first half Grand-Axhe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

AFC Leeuwergem's Christoph De Maijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Jongbloedt in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, AFC Leeuwergem's Christoph De Maijer got control of the ball when Jannic Jongbloedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthias Huijbrechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel De nuijter, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Matthias Huijbrechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Everts in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Leo Van Cauwenbergh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Leeuwergem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Van Cauwenbergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to AFC Leeuwergem getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leo Van Cauwenbergh hit a great ball. Christoph De Maijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Flocquier in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jannic Jongbloedt got free with Christoph De Maijer in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Lionel De nuijter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Leeuwergem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grand-Axhe the free kick. Luuk Cheepers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jannic Jongbloedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jannic Jongbloedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Christoph De Maijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Grand-Axhe players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
