Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Willem-Jan Anthonis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Wim De Pauw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes in the game, Willem-Jan Anthonis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pieter Moerman having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Baaigem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Oosteinde:s goal. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, SK Oosteinde's Dean Van Hautvin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pieter Moerman. With an all-out effort, SK Oosteinde's Pieter Moerman threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Willem-Jan Anthonis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Van de Zande during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guust Goosens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jon Goemyne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SK Oosteinde's Jorden Van Boekost got a free kick in the 39th minute. Baaigem's Pieter Moerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem-Jan Anthonis in the 49th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Anton Van der Vorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guust Goosens did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Jon Goemyne 70 minutes into the match. Baaigem's Pieter Moerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibo Weijgaerts in the 74th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Baaigem's goal looked a bit too open when Tibo Weijgaerts came free, but Pieter Moerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Anton Van der Vorst had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Goemyne. SK Oosteinde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Van der Vorst was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Baaigem's Pieter Moerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibo Weijgaerts in the 86th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play SK Oosteinde's Jorden Van Boekost was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Anton Van der Vorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Guust Goosens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baaigem's supporters rose to their feet, but Guust Goosens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Goemyne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pieter Moerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsene Poets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SK Oosteinde supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Baaigem's performance. The match ended with a win for Baaigem.
