In the 64th minute Anton Van der Vorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Opdebeeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Claeys got free with Pieter Moerman in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes, Jannick Dheedene mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSC Liefkenshoek and the Baaigem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes RSC Liefkenshoek got a freekick which was hit by Jannick Dheedene. Baaigem's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
