Frank Opdebeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Jan Anthonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willem-Jan Anthonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willem-Jan Anthonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Opdebeeck having to interfere. RSC Liefkenshoek's Tomas Artois got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibo Weijgaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Frank Opdebeeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SK Oosteinde booed when RSC Liefkenshoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bass Van den Driesch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Etienne Van Caenegem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RSC Liefkenshoek's Frank Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem-Jan Anthonis in the 20th minute of play. Frank Opdebeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Jan Anthonis in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willem-Jan Anthonis in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Opdebeeck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of RSC Liefkenshoek booed when SK Oosteinde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsene Poets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Goemyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Van Caenegem in the 30th minute of play. Willem-Jan Anthonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tibo Weijgaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Claeys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Goemyne having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Etienne Van Caenegem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jon Goemyne. That made the score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play.

Jon Goemyne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Claeys went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, RSC Liefkenshoek's goal looked a bit too open when Willem-Jan Anthonis came free, but Frank Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Claeys scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Goemyne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Opdebeeck made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Tibo Weijgaerts sent off a good shot on target. Etienne Van Caenegem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SK Oosteinde's Jon Goemyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Van Caenegem in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Etienne Van Caenegem managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Liefkenshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Etienne Van Caenegem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Goemyne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Etienne Van Caenegem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jon Goemyne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etienne Van Caenegem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willem-Jan Anthonis struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Frank Opdebeeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Oosteinde. Frank Opdebeeck was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Jorden Van Boekost capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorden Van Boekost really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RSC Liefkenshoek fans cheered their team off the field, for while SK Oosteinde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
