KAA Overhespen's Geoffry Pelsmaeckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joannes Neys in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Rendeux's goal looked a bit too open when Pino Mallaerts came free, but Arend Dockx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rendeux getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dyllen Van Kamp hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pino Mallaerts in the 35th minute of play forced Rendeux's goalkeeper Arend Dockx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rob Wijnrijx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arend Dockx having to interfere. The supporters of KAA Overhespen booed when Rendeux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octave Lejeune didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Overhespen's zone, Joannes Neys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geoffry Pelsmaeckers came out of the goal and Joannes Neys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Joannes Neys made the kick off in the second half. If Johnny Bruynincx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joannes Neys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rendeux had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
