Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gery Van den Panhuizen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gery Van den Panhuizen took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emile Roosendael. Emile Roosendael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Oswald Hensmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Niki Diependaele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Hans Brabant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honnelles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assent the free kick. In the 18th minute Oswald Hensmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niki Diependaele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Honnelles booed when Assent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertus Grauwen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Honnelles were awarded a corner. Youri Vandenbosch went to the cornerflag to take it. Gery Van den Panhuizen might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emile Roosendael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gery Van den Panhuizen ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gery Van den Panhuizen in the 30th minute of play forced Honnelles's goalkeeper Emile Roosendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Assent 's Nickolas Dewulf got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Youri Vandenbosch was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Oswald Hensmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niki Diependaele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Luukas Backers struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Niki Diependaele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honnelles. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Niki Diependaele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswald Hensmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gery Van den Panhuizen in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emile Roosendael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emile Roosendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gery Van den Panhuizen in the 72nd minute of the match. Youri Vandenbosch kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Assent 's Artuur Van Houtvin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 86th play minute Sylven Hensmans came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emile Roosendael. 0-3. Oswald Hensmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
