Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Van Houtvin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Lennart Van Beylen made a precise shot to the right of Jos Elsen. KV Celles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Erik-Jan Van Hoeyveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Lennart Van Beylen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oswald Hensmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jos Elsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik-Jan Van Hoeyveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emile Roosendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Van Houtvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik-Jan Van Hoeyveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emile Roosendael having to interfere. KV Celles's Ernst De Metser suffered a sore thigh after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Luukas Backers fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honnelles's protests and gave Luukas Backers a yellow card for diving instead. Luukas Backers kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. KV Celles's Jos Elsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Hensmans in the 32nd minute of play. Erik-Jan Van Hoeyveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Honnelles were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswald Hensmans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Honnelles's Oswald Hensmans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, KV Celles's goal looked a bit too open when Oswald Hensmans came free, but Jos Elsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jos Elsen was a little too slow when Oswald Hensmans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. Jos Elsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswald Hensmans in the 70th minute of play. Jos Elsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswald Hensmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute, Honnelles's Hans Brabant dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 82nd minute, Oswald Hensmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Van Beylen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Jos Elsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jos Elsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Hensmans in the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Erik-Jan Van Hoeyveld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Celles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik-Jan Van Hoeyveld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luukas Backers hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Honnelles eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
