Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Quentin Milters made the kick off which started today's match. Artuur Smets took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hubert Carels. FC Ucimont's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Ucimont were furious when Adolphe Wolfdoncx was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After some careless play in the KVSK Aalter defense, Tim Klijnhens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boudewijn De Neuter. The KVSK Aalter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boudewijn De Neuter should have stopped the shot. Tim Klijnhens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes KVSK Aalter got a freekick which was hit by Herman Callewaert. When Remco De Lauw fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ucimont's protests and gave Remco De Lauw a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Remco De Lauw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17thth minute of the game Jamie Van Brussel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ucimont's Hubert Carels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tim Klijnhens came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Ucimont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Klijnhens couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Jamie Van Brussel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Carels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mario Van Poucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, KVSK Aalter's Mario Van Poucke made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Carels was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, FC Ucimont's Tim Klijnhens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boudewijn De Neuter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 played minutes KVSK Aalter got a freekick which was hit by Herman Callewaert. Tim Klijnhens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Herman Callewaert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KVSK Aalter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ucimont the free kick. After 40 played minutes KVSK Aalter got a freekick which was hit by Herman Callewaert. Boudewijn De Neuter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Klijnhens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th match minute, KVSK Aalter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Callewaert to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, FC Ucimont's Tim Klijnhens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boudewijn De Neuter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Yanne De Weijgaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tim Klijnhens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Carels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jamie Van Brussel in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the KVSK Aalter defense, Tim Klijnhens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boudewijn De Neuter. The KVSK Aalter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boudewijn De Neuter should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jamie Van Brussel managed to get in a good position for a shot. KVSK Aalter's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Van Brussel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Carels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Van Poucke succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-5.
