In the 5th minute of the match Richey Van hoeijveld shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charly Heirpoel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to KVSK Zallaken getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Christofere Degryse hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Van Beersel in the 7th minute of play forced KVSK Zallaken's goalkeeper Charly Heirpoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Robin Van Beveren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathis Sevenants was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Elias Van Beersel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charly Heirpoel having to make a save. A collision led to KVSK Zallaken getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Frederik Uijtterhoven hit a great ball. Charly Heirpoel came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Graide's Marcus Van Buyten. But to his dismay, Marcus Van Buyten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 18 played minutes KVSK Zallaken got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Uijtterhoven. After 28 played minutes KVSK Zallaken got a freekick which was hit by Fred Gilis. In the 36th minute, Marcus Van Buyten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charly Heirpoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Van Beersel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, KVSK Zallaken's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Van Buyten came free, but Charly Heirpoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KVSK Zallaken's Charly Heirpoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Van Buyten in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Van Beveren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Robin Van Beveren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathis Sevenants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, KFC Graide's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Van Beveren came free, but Mathis Sevenants reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teun van haeve charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teun van haeve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KFC Graide getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Teun van haeve hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Fred Tijs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathis Sevenants was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Fred Tijs struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Mathis Sevenants didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVSK Zallaken. Marcus Van Buyten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Charly Heirpoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KVSK Zallaken's Frederik Uijtterhoven got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KVSK Zallaken's zone, Marcus Van Buyten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charly Heirpoel came out of the goal and Marcus Van Buyten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Van Beersel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Graide's zone, Fred Tijs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathis Sevenants came out of the goal and Fred Tijs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Van Buyten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Charly Heirpoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Van Buyten might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charly Heirpoel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Van Buyten ran back to his position shaking his head. The KVSK Zallaken fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KFC Graide were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
