Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mario Van Poucke got the match started through his kick off. When Elias Van Beersel came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the KFC Graide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Van Beersel couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Elias Van Beersel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boudewijn De Neuter. The goal made the score 1-0. Marcus Van Buyten kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Jamie Van Brussel came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the KVSK Aalter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamie Van Brussel couldn't finish the play. The KFC Graide fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when KFC Graide's Elias Van Beersel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Jamie Van Brussel came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the KVSK Aalter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamie Van Brussel couldn't finish the play. Mathis Sevenants stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jamie Van Brussel's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Van Poucke in the 30th minute of play forced KFC Graide's goalkeeper Mathis Sevenants to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KFC Graide's Teun van haeve got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, Jamie Van Brussel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elias Van Beersel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Marcus Van Buyten managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Graide's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Van Buyten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boudewijn De Neuter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Van Beersel made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Van Beersel in the 54th minute of play forced KVSK Aalter's goalkeeper Boudewijn De Neuter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elias Van Beersel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Callewaert's late challenge caught a KFC Graide's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herman Callewaert helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KVSK Aalter's Herman Callewaert got a free kick in the 57th minute. Boudewijn De Neuter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Van Beersel in the 58th minute of the match. Thomas Dujardin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Elias Van Beersel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of KVSK Aalter's Boudewijn De Neuter. Boudewijn De Neuter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jamie Van Brussel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mathis Sevenants firmly grabbed it by the left post. 67 minutes into the match, KVSK Aalter's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Van Beersel came free, but Boudewijn De Neuter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathis Sevenants made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Jamie Van Brussel sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jamie Van Brussel managed to get in a good position for a shot. KVSK Aalter's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Van Brussel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathis Sevenants breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, KFC Graide's Mathis Sevenants got control of the ball when Jamie Van Brussel tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Van Buyten in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boudewijn De Neuter saved KVSK Aalter from getting behind. After 95 minutes, Carl Lache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KVSK Aalter and the KFC Graide players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KVSK Aalter's Carl Lache got a free kick in the 95th minute. KFC Graide were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KVSK Aalter for a fine match.
