Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco De Becker took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 14th minute Steve Van Den Abeele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsene Teurfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco De Becker was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Guilian De Schepper came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the KFC Oeselgem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilian De Schepper couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes, Martial Mattheijs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annekenshoek and the KFC Oeselgem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Annekenshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martial Mattheijs to maneuver through the defense. Steve Van Den Abeele scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsene Teurfs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Annekenshoek's Steve Van Den Abeele got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Octave Wuijts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annekenshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Octave Wuijts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsene Teurfs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th match minute, Annekenshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Helssen to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Yvan Torfs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Oeselgem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marco De Becker might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giles De Hondt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco De Becker ran back to his position shaking his head. Octave Wuijts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steve Van Den Abeele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco De Becker scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giles De Hondt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martial Mattheijs got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of KFC Oeselgem booed when Annekenshoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martial Mattheijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco De Becker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Giles De Hondt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Marco De Becker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giles De Hondt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Marco De Becker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Annekenshoek's Giles De Hondt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Steve Van Den Abeele charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Van Den Abeele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Annekenshoek getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Steve Van Den Abeele hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Octave Wuijts got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 84th minute, Kim Debock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Annekenshoek's Patrick Van Linthaudt tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Annekenshoek's Steve Van Den Abeele got a free kick in the 87th minute. Yvan Torfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giles De Hondt having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco De Becker in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giles De Hondt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yvan Torfs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KFC Oeselgem had won after a very even match.
