A collision led to KFC Oeselgem getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ludwig Cortens hit a great ball. Jorn Van Deijck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arsene Teurfs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luckas Sterckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yvan Torfs in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Desse getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Georges van Eijnde hit a great ball. Jorn Van Deijck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to KFC Oeselgem getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ludwig Cortens hit a great ball. Desse 's Pierre-Olivier Van Goitsenhoven shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arsene Teurfs but with some difficulty. KFC Oeselgem's Arsene Teurfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorn Van Deijck in the 28th minute of play. Guilian De Schepper hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorn Van Deijck got free with Arsene Teurfs in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th match minute, KFC Oeselgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Van Houtvinc to maneuver through the defense. Jorn Van Deijck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Arsene Teurfs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yvan Torfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luckas Sterckx having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Jorn Van Deijck made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Desse booed when KFC Oeselgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Debock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Desse got a corner. KFC Oeselgem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pierre-Olivier Van Goitsenhoven ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Desse 's Pierre-Olivier Van Goitsenhoven to fire away a dangerous shot which Arsene Teurfs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, KFC Oeselgem's goal looked a bit too open when Jorn Van Deijck came free, but Arsene Teurfs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Desse booed when KFC Oeselgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco De Becker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsene Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvain Van Leempten in the 76th minute of play. If Jorn Van Deijck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sylvain Van Leempten fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desse 's protests and gave Sylvain Van Leempten a yellow card for diving instead. Sylvain Van Leempten hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Desse 's Georges van Eijnde got a free kick in the 89th minute. Yvan Torfs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Georges van Eijnde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
