Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ronald Martin got the match started through his kick off. Christopher Reijdams could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Axell Ghesels made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Zeveneken's zone, Ronald Martin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jullian Baboeuf came out of the goal and Ronald Martin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Pancken in the 12th minute of play forced Zeveneken's goalkeeper Jullian Baboeuf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jullian Baboeuf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Pancken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Alex Van der Vloedt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Axell Ghesels. The goal made the score 1-0. Christopher Reijdams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Axell Ghesels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mathis Van de Putt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axell Ghesels made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Christopher Reijdams sent off a good shot on target. Boxelaar's Jannis Reyniers pulled a muscle in his back after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 24 minutes into the game, Alex Van der Vloedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zeveneken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boxelaar the free kick. A collision led to Zeveneken getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alex Van der Vloedt hit a great ball. Patrik Pancken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jullian Baboeuf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Christopher Reijdams made a precise shot to the right of Axell Ghesels. Boxelaar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Christopher Reijdams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zeveneken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 40th minute Patrik Pancken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jullian Baboeuf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Van der Vloedt in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axell Ghesels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Van der Vloedt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mathis Van de Putt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Christopher Reijdams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeveneken's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Reijdams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axell Ghesels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boxelaar's Patrik Pancken got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Imbereghs charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Imbereghs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Imbereghs kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Michael Smedts shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Zeveneken's Jullian Baboeuf to catch but Michael Smedts was lucky. It became 3-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 67 minutes into the game, Mathis Van de Putt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boxelaar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zeveneken the free kick. Zeveneken's Alex Van der Vloedt got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Van der Vloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axell Ghesels having to interfere. A collision led to Boxelaar getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Chris-George Impens hit a great ball. Axell Ghesels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Reijdams in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Zeveneken's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patrik Pancken fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 87th minute, Andreas Imbereghs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christopher Reijdams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Imbereghs in the 97th minute of play forced Boxelaar's goalkeeper Axell Ghesels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeveneken's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
