Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaques Duchateau got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th match minute, VC Samart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Mestdagh to maneuver through the defense. Axell Ghesels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaques Duchateau in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaques Duchateau in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axell Ghesels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. VC Samart's Jaques Duchateau got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nick Vandeput fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axell Ghesels having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathis Rondou during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mathis Rondou kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in VC Samart's zone, Patrik Pancken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guust Verengen came out of the goal and Patrik Pancken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Boxelaar booed when VC Samart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Paul De Mees didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ronald Martin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Patrik Pancken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boxelaar's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Pancken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guust Verengen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chris-George Impens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Ronald Martin made the kick off in the second half. Guust Verengen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Pancken in the 54th minute of the match. Boxelaar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Smedts in the 56th minute. Guust Verengen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sebastien Van Hamme fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Samart's protests and gave Sebastien Van Hamme a yellow card for diving instead. If Ronald Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, VC Samart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel Van den Bossche to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Pancken scored 1-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guust Verengen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronald Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Guust Verengen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronald Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Boxelaar's Ronald Martin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guust Verengen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Boxelaar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
