Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kris Martens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sean Lefevre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Martens's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Rocky Baele kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Andy Gijselinghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Arnold Wans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club Villers-la-Ville getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jason Dheedene hit a great ball. Sean Lefevre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Martens in the 17th minute of the match. Kris Martens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles De Mayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Lefevre having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, SC Houthalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Tielemans to maneuver through the defense. Vic Westelinx, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Robbin Vits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Lefevre having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Kris Martens notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Houthalen's Sean Lefevre. Sean Lefevre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andy Gijselinghs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Arnold Wans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, SC Houthalen's goal looked a bit too open when Charles De Mayer came free, but Sean Lefevre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Vrancken to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Jason Dheedene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Villers-la-Ville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Houthalen the free kick. After 56 played minutes Club Villers-la-Ville got a freekick which was hit by Jason Dheedene. After recieving a nice pass, SC Houthalen's Roel Render tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, SC Houthalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Baele to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roel Render during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Jose Vrancken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnold Wans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Andy Gijselinghs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Houthalen's Ritchie Tielemans got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kris Martens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Lefevre having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Vrancken in the 80th minute of play forced Club Villers-la-Ville's goalkeeper Arnold Wans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Martens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Baele in the 90th minute of play forced Club Villers-la-Ville's goalkeeper Arnold Wans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Vic Westelinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnold Wans came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Houthalen's Andy Gijselinghs. But to his dismay, Andy Gijselinghs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Club Villers-la-Ville were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC Houthalen to leave the ground with a draw.
