Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wesley Decorte kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Wesley Decorte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pascal Vanden Bussche, passed just outside the right post. In the 16th minute Edgard Huybreghts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam-Lucas Helsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dany-Adams Van De Velden fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Spriet's protests and gave Dany-Adams Van De Velden a yellow card for diving instead. Pascal Vanden Bussche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Decorte in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yvan Voet during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yvan Voet hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Alan Van Dyck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yvan Voet got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Pascal Vanden Bussche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Decorte, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Lampernisse's Wannes Bautmans in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Spriet's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lampernisse's zone, Wesley Decorte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Vanden Bussche came out of the goal and Wesley Decorte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wannes Bautmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lampernisse's Wannes Bautmans in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Spriet's goalie prevented a goal. Wannes Bautmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam-Lucas Helsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wannes Bautmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wannes Bautmans made a kick off. Wannes Bautmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam-Lucas Helsen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edgard Huybreghts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lampernisse's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Huybreghts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam-Lucas Helsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wesley Decorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ray Coekelbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Vanden Bussche having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Lampernisse's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Coekelbergh came free, but Pascal Vanden Bussche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Spriet's Florian de Neuyter got a free kick in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Lampernisse's Wannes Bautmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sam-Lucas Helsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ray Coekelbergh in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascal Vanden Bussche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lampernisse's zone, Ray Coekelbergh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Vanden Bussche came out of the goal and Ray Coekelbergh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Decorte charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Decorte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pascal Vanden Bussche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Decorte in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Wannes Bautmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lampernisse played a much better game than Club Spriet and deserved their victory. The Club Spriet players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
