Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jordi Bellinkx started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bastelaar booed when Etalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Vrancx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennert Godts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Inglebert having to interfere. Andrew De Vaddere's late challenge caught a Bastelaar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrew De Vaddere helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, one of Etalle:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Etalle. Herald De Jong scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitri de Pelsmaecker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Bastelaar's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Hagemans came free, but Dimitri de Pelsmaecker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hendrik Verstraeten hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Etalle booed when Bastelaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Vloebergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Hagemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bastelaar's Jordi Bellinkx in 33 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Vicente Inglebert guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Lennert Godts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Vicente Inglebert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Etalle's Arnauld Van den Berge got a free kick in the 37th minute. Vicente Inglebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordi Bellinkx in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Kevin Hagemans made a precise shot to the right of Dimitri de Pelsmaecker. Bastelaar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Etalle were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kevin Hagemans made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bastelaar booed when Etalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Deschrijver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordi Bellinkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lennert Godts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Herald De Jong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Verstraeten was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. Jordi Bellinkx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vicente Inglebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Arnauld Van den Berge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Etalle and the Bastelaar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Etalle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnauld Van den Berge to maneuver through the defense. Lennert Godts kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Vicente Inglebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennert Godts in the 89th minute of the match. If Jordi Bellinkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lennert Godts came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Bastelaar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennert Godts couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bastelaar fully deserved thier win.
