Gert Neesens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guy Dedecker having to make a save. Guy Dedecker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robben Huts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Kieth De Langhe kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Guy Dedecker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robben Huts in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robben Huts in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guy Dedecker saved Ootegem from getting behind. Frederick Hacke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bram Van der Weijden's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Ootegem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jumet:s goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ootegem players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jumet.
