Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivo Gyselincx kicked off to start the match. Wayne Vos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Roel De Meulder made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Borgloon's Sylvain Opdebeeck got a free kick in the 16th minute. Borgloon's Christoffel Van Steen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre De Muysere in the 17th minute of play. If Wayne Vos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roel De Meulder made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Wayne Vos sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Pierre De Muysere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffel Van Steen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Borgloon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Swings to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd play minute Wayne Vos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roel De Meulder. 1-0. In the 35th match minute, Borgloon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Vanhove to maneuver through the defense. Yannik Cockaerts hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Borgloon's Christoffel Van Steen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre De Muysere in the 42nd minute of play. When Benoit Voet fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borgloon's protests and gave Benoit Voet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Benoit Voet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thobias De Poorter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffel Van Steen having to interfere. Christoffel Van Steen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre De Muysere in the 49th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rene Swings made the kick off in the second half. Wayne Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wieze getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Thibaud Van der Loock hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Borgloon's Leo Van Bostraeten tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Swings in the 64th minute of play forced Wieze's goalkeeper Roel De Meulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Borgloon's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Gyselincx came free, but Christoffel Van Steen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Gyselincx was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Wieze's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Borgloon's Christoffel Van Steen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Gyselincx in the 69th minute of play. Christoffel Van Steen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Gyselincx in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Borgloon getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dean Vanhove hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Borgloon's Yannik Cockaerts got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wieze's zone, Wayne Vos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roel De Meulder came out of the goal and Wayne Vos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thobias De Poorter hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Roel De Meulder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Swings in the 81st minute of play. Roel De Meulder came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Borgloon's Rene Swings. But to his dismay, Rene Swings quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 87 minutes into the match, Borgloon's Wayne Vos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roel De Meulder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roel De Meulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Swings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre De Muysere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wieze's goalkeeper Roel De Meulder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wieze's Roel De Meulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Swings in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Borgloon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wieze had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
