Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jesse Van Hermenghem made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Heule's zone, Jesse Van Hermenghem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruud Smekens came out of the goal and Jesse Van Hermenghem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Heule's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Robijns came free, but Ruud Smekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heule's Ruud Smekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Van Hermenghem in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Cornelis Schautens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruud Smekens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Jesse Van Hermenghem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Smekens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 17 in the game by Robby Jooris from a close distance when the talented Matthieu Tielemans managed to make a qualified save. KV Kemzeke's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robbrecht Swings during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heule's goalkeeper Ruud Smekens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charl Hauwaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jesse Van Hermenghem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruud Smekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesse Van Hermenghem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Robijns in the 30th minute of play forced Heule's goalkeeper Ruud Smekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KV Kemzeke's Charlie Robijns got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jesse Van Hermenghem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robby Jooris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Matthieu Tielemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arend Izemborgh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, KV Kemzeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanny Van Beneden to maneuver through the defense. Robbrecht Swings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Matthieu Tielemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robbrecht Swings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arend Izemborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesse Van Hermenghem struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ruud Smekens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Kemzeke. After 79 minutes, Maurus Neesens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Kemzeke and the Heule players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sylvan Deckers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arend Izemborgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Matthieu Tielemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesse Van Hermenghem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Smekens having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KV Kemzeke's Jacky D'haene got a free kick in the 96th minute. The KV Kemzeke players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
