Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustav Vermeiren kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Gustav Vermeiren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Smekens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud Smekens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gertjan Segers in the 5th minute. If Gustav Vermeiren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KSV Stabroek's Nickolas De Vlaeminck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arend Izemborgh in the 13th minute of play. Nickolas De Vlaeminck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Jooris in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gertjan Segers got free with Ruud Smekens in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustav Vermeiren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Reinaud Sens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KSV Stabroek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heule the free kick. Reinaud Sens hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nickolas De Vlaeminck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arend Izemborgh in the 27th minute of the match. When Arend Izemborgh came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Heule fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arend Izemborgh couldn't finish the play. Arend Izemborgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nickolas De Vlaeminck having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, KSV Stabroek's goal looked a bit too open when Arend Izemborgh came free, but Nickolas De Vlaeminck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Arend Izemborgh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heule fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arend Izemborgh made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Heule's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Vermeiren came free, but Ruud Smekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Heule booed when KSV Stabroek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan Segers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robby Jooris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Nickolas De Vlaeminck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Robby Jooris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heule's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby Jooris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nickolas De Vlaeminck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heule's Arend Izemborgh got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julien Vuerinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruud Smekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gertjan Segers, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gertjan Segers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruud Smekens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Vermeiren in the 77th minute of play. Ruud Smekens came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by KSV Stabroek's Michael Heijligem. But to his dismay, Michael Heijligem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ruud Smekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gertjan Segers, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Gustav Vermeiren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arend Izemborgh struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Nickolas De Vlaeminck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heule. Nickolas De Vlaeminck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arend Izemborgh, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Heule's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
