After having played for 3 minutes, Gertjan Segers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Stabroek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gertjan Segers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthieu Tielemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Vermeiren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Jesse Van Hermenghem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nickolas De Vlaeminck. Jesse Van Hermenghem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind KSV Stabroek's goalkeeper Nickolas De Vlaeminck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KSV Stabroek's Gertjan Segers got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Gustav Vermeiren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Matthieu Tielemans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 18 minutes, Gertjan Segers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mario Terwenhout took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matthieu Tielemans. KV Kemzeke's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nickolas De Vlaeminck was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jacky D'haene. Mario Terwenhout hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Cornelis Schautens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nickolas De Vlaeminck skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KSV Stabroek's zone, Jesse Van Hermenghem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nickolas De Vlaeminck came out of the goal and Jesse Van Hermenghem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jesse Van Hermenghem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KV Kemzeke's Matthieu Tielemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Vermeiren in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, KV Kemzeke's goal looked a bit too open when Gertjan Segers came free, but Matthieu Tielemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gertjan Segers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Matthieu Tielemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Michael Heijligem managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Stabroek's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Heijligem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthieu Tielemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Charlie Robijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Charlie Robijns came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the KV Kemzeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Robijns couldn't finish the play. Jesse Van Hermenghem scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nickolas De Vlaeminck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, KSV Stabroek's goal looked a bit too open when Jesse Van Hermenghem came free, but Nickolas De Vlaeminck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gertjan Segers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthieu Tielemans having to make a save. Tim-Jan Izemborgh hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind KSV Stabroek's goalkeeper Nickolas De Vlaeminck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, KV Kemzeke's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Vermeiren came free, but Matthieu Tielemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Cornelis Schautens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nickolas De Vlaeminck skillfully saved the ball. If Gertjan Segers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KV Kemzeke were victorious despite being under pressure from KSV Stabroek for much of the match.
