RSC Erpion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Watervliet the free kick. Felix De Coninck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix De Coninck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joonatan Van Schoorisse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Andries Holemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Andries Holemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix De Coninck was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SC Watervliet's Arno Van Latem got a free kick in the 65th minute. Niel Demeyer hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. SC Watervliet's supporters rose to their feet, but Joonatan Van Schoorisse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
