Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conrad De Rudder took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Josef Van Cauwenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Voneche and the VC Nevele players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SK Voneche getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Josef Van Cauwenberg hit a great ball. After 6 minutes SK Voneche's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stein Van Der Eyde who took care of the corner kick. After 12 minutes, Frederick Van Meerbeek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC Nevele and the SK Voneche players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Frederick Van Meerbeek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Van Goolen in the 23rd minute of play forced SK Voneche's goalkeeper Tom Gyselinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Perry Van Goolen sped through SK Voneche's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tom Gyselinck. Perry Van Goolen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SK Voneche's Jose Van Looy got a free kick in the 29th minute. Conrad De Rudder struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gert-Jan Laporte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Voneche. Andreas Ingelborchs charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Ingelborchs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Ingelborchs hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Bart De Raeijmaeckers's late challenge caught a SK Voneche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bart De Raeijmaeckers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VC Nevele's Bart De Raeijmaeckers got a free kick in the 44th minute. Conrad De Rudder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederick Van Meerbeek to make the kick off. Gert-Jan Laporte came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SK Voneche's Amaury Hoolemans. But to his dismay, Amaury Hoolemans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gert-Jan Laporte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad De Rudder in the 63rd minute of the match. Perry Van Goolen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Conrad De Rudder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gert-Jan Laporte was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Pieterjan D'haene hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amaury Hoolemans in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gert-Jan Laporte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th match minute, VC Nevele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Van Landewijck to maneuver through the defense. Geert Van Riel thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gert-Jan Laporte, a very annoying self made goal in the 77th minute which led to 3-1. Gert-Jan Laporte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrad De Rudder's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Perry Van Goolen struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tom Gyselinck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Nevele. 86 minutes into the game, Frederick Van Meerbeek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tom Gyselinck. Frederick Van Meerbeek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Amaury Hoolemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gert-Jan Laporte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SK Voneche's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
