Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Frederick Van Meerbeek made the kick off and thus started the match. VC Nevele's Gert-Jan Laporte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Duchateau in the 8th minute of play. Gert-Jan Laporte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Duchateau, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Frederick Van Meerbeek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Nevele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederick Van Meerbeek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bart De Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Dewinter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederick Van Meerbeek in the 27th minute of play. Jullian Pancken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert-Jan Laporte having to interfere. Jullian Pancken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, VC Nevele's Pieterjan D'haene got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ben Dewinter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederick Van Meerbeek in the 45th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Kent Voet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Pieton's Ben Dewinter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Van Goolen in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, VC Nevele's Pieterjan D'haene got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Sylvain Reijnders scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Gert-Jan Laporte who was too lazy, 1-1. After having played for 67 minutes, Perry Van Goolen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Nevele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Van Goolen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perry Van Goolen struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ben Dewinter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Nevele. Perry Van Goolen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Dewinter having to interfere. When Jerry Van der Loock fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pieton's protests and gave Jerry Van der Loock a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Alexandre de Pelsmaekers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Dewinter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederick Van Meerbeek in the 82nd minute of play. Gert-Jan Laporte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Duchateau in the 89th minute. Pieton's Herbert Duchateau got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Herbert Duchateau came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Pieton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Duchateau couldn't finish the play. The supporters of VC Nevele booed when Pieton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rens Rondou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match VC Nevele got a corner. Pieton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stein Van Der Eyde ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on VC Nevele's corner Stein Van Der Eyde fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ben Dewinter quite easily take care of the ball.
