Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sean Gobelijns took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Hector Machiels managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Ouderzeel's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Machiels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitry Imbreghts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waud Van Casteren kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ignace Rockloos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Sean Gobelijns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sean Gobelijns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Philip Coekelbergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Meux booed when VC Ouderzeel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurus Van den Bossche didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, VC Ouderzeel's Serge Van den Panhuizen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitry Imbreghts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Hector Machiels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitry Imbreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Coekelbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomm Pelegrims in the 33rd minute of the match. Sean Gobelijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sean Gobelijns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Coekelbergh having to interfere. Serge Van den Panhuizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute of the match Philippe Schepens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimitry Imbreghts skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Meux's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Van den Panhuizen came free, but Dimitry Imbreghts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Refael Lyens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serge Van den Panhuizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitry Imbreghts having to interfere. If Tomm Pelegrims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Coekelbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Gobelijns in the 69th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, Meux's Tomm Pelegrims made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Coekelbergh was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Meux getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sean Gobelijns hit a great ball. Hector Machiels might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitry Imbreghts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Machiels ran back to his position shaking his head. Philip Coekelbergh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Gobelijns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Gobelijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meux's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
