Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pieterjan Stroobant started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. KFC Lindeken's Franky Van Bostraeten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieterjan Stroobant in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Wart Klijnhens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Lindeken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avoortsbrug the free kick. In the 7th match minute, KFC Lindeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wart Klijnhens to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Edmond Van Impe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avoortsbrug's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Van Impe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andreas de Neys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lieven Borginions managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Lindeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Lieven Borginions was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Vleminx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lieven Borginions sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andreas de Neys struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Simon Vleminx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Lindeken. Franky Van Bostraeten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieterjan Stroobant in the 20th minute of play. Franky Van Bostraeten came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Avoortsbrug's Edmond Van Impe. But to his dismay, Edmond Van Impe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 31st minute of the match Benedict Verhoeven sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franky Van Bostraeten skillfully saved the ball. Andreas de Neys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Simon Vleminx made a huge save. Franky Van Bostraeten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieterjan Stroobant in the 35th minute of play. Andreas de Neys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas de Neys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Simon Vleminx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andreas de Neys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Vleminx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lieven Borginions went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Andreas de Neys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Vleminx having to interfere. Edmond Van Impe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute of the match, Pieterjan Stroobant tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franky Van Bostraeten saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Andreas de Neys managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Lindeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas de Neys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 87th match minute, Avoortsbrug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilian Carpenter to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Andreas de Neys managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Lindeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas de Neys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Vleminx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukas Marichal during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Lukas Marichal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When KFC Lindeken's Lieven Borginions in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avoortsbrug's goalie prevented a goal. After 93 played minutes Avoortsbrug got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Marichal. In the 94th minute of the match Emanuel Reuters sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Vleminx skillfully saved the ball. Franky Van Bostraeten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieterjan Stroobant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Avoortsbrug had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
