Mike Demeester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Sliepers having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Albertus Van Brusselen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stef Van Huyck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12thth minute of the game Albertus Van Brusselen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Dongelberg's Stef Van Huyck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Tiendenberg got a freekick which was hit by Anthonio Dewulf. Joey Sliepers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Verbruggen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, one of Tiendenberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tiendenberg. Club Dongelberg's Hector Verbruggen got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mike Demeester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tiendenberg getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Viktor Van Eyken hit a great ball. Albertus Van Brusselen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stef Van Huyck having to interfere. Anthonio Dewulf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

53 minutes into the match, Mike Demeester notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tiendenberg's Joey Sliepers. Joey Sliepers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mike Demeester in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joey Sliepers saved Tiendenberg from getting behind. When Albertus Van Brusselen came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tiendenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertus Van Brusselen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthonio Dewulf in the 66th minute of play forced Club Dongelberg's goalkeeper Stef Van Huyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Dongelberg's Stef Van Huyck got control of the ball when Albertus Van Brusselen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mike Demeester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Sliepers having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Mike Demeester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Dongelberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Demeester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes, Janes Van der Veeken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Dongelberg and the Tiendenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tiendenberg booed when Club Dongelberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janes Van der Veeken didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Albertus Van Brusselen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike Demeester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joey Sliepers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Dongelberg's Hector Verbruggen got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Tony Fraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiendenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dongelberg the free kick. Tony Fraes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Tiendenberg got a freekick which was hit by Jeremie Peten. Joey Sliepers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Verbruggen in the 92nd minute of the match. Stef Van Huyck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albertus Van Brusselen in the 94th minute. Tiendenberg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
