Johan Van de Wal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommie Wuijts's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Johan Van de Wal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Wuijts in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, KSV Schemersberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rens Van der Weijden to maneuver through the defense. In the 16thth minute of the game Tommie Wuijts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Heurne 's Johan Van de Wal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes AFC Heurne got a freekick which was hit by Jaspar Acke. After 27 played minutes AFC Heurne got a freekick which was hit by Artuur Haesevoets. Tommie Wuijts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Johan Van de Wal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Artois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Englebert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Rolf Englebert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fred Artois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommie Wuijts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luc Elssen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Tommie Wuijts reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johan Van de Wal. The goal made the score 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Van den Bergen got free with Johan Van de Wal in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolf Englebert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Artois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KSV Schemersberg's Gregoire Vogels got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Rolf Englebert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Artois. KSV Schemersberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolf Englebert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Tommie Wuijts who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Johan Van de Wal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tommie Wuijts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Van de Wal having to interfere. Karel Bauwens kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Johan Van de Wal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Van den Bergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommie Wuijtss short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Johan Van de Wal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Wilfried Grammet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
