Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wesley Everaerts started the match with the kick off. Johny Van de Gaer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rik Kustermans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Johny Van de Gaer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hulshout's Rik Kustermans. Rik Kustermans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Van Gertsuyden in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rik Kustermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wesley Everaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Wesley Everaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quillian Verheijden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylan Smolders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wesley Everaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Van Gertsuyden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rik Kustermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johny Van de Gaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Gaetan Engelboorgs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johny Van de Gaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian De Keijsere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Johny Van de Gaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wesley Everaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Quillian Verheijden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abraham Van Gertsuyden was the one to do the kick off. Rik Kustermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johny Van de Gaer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Hulshout's goal looked a bit too open when Johny Van de Gaer came free, but Rik Kustermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan Smolders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Quillian Verheijden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Everaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quillian Verheijden having to interfere. If Wesley Everaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johny Van de Gaer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rik Kustermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Abraham Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Kustermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylan Smolders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Quillian Verheijden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Dylan Smolders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hulshout's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylan Smolders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robbin Schautens hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hulshout players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mazenhoven.
