Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Plombi's Johny Mestdagh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evert-Jan Grammet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Johny Mestdagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johny Mestdagh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Evert-Jan Grammet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir. KSV Reves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert-Jan Grammet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute Evert-Jan Grammet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KSV Reves's Anthoon Bernaerts got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 30th minute, Plombi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emile Lanfan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 31 minutes into the game, Axell Van Haght was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plombi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KSV Reves the free kick. After 31 played minutes Plombi got a freekick which was hit by Axell Van Haght. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Delcomte in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nico Rosbach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billy Hellemons during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Plombi getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Billy Hellemons hit a great ball. Plombi's Nico Rosbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Delcomte in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Delcomte to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Johny Mestdagh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plombi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johny Mestdagh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Plombi's Evert-Jan Grammet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johny Mestdagh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute, one of Plombi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Plombi. The referee gave KSV Reves a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jacobus Maeijnaerts, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Plombi's Nico Rosbach. 2-2. Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert-Jan Grammet in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the match, KSV Reves's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert-Jan Grammet. Nico Rosbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Delcomte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Rosbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Delcomte in the 84th minute of play. Plombi's Nico Rosbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Delcomte in the 90th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Billy Hellemons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Plombi failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
