Ief Matthys made the kick off and thus started the match. If Mario Raaymakers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. RSC Hoegaarden's Herald Kersselaers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save RSC Hoegaarden from getting a goal against them. Herald Kersselaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Raaymakers, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Charles-Louis Gobelijns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Herald Kersselaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herald Kersselaers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Raaymakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. One of SK Daalheide:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RSC Hoegaarden:s goal. When Kim Huijbreghts fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Hoegaarden's protests and gave Kim Huijbreghts a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes RSC Hoegaarden got a freekick which was hit by Kim Huijbreghts. After some careless play in the RSC Hoegaarden defense, Mario Raaymakers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herald Kersselaers. The RSC Hoegaarden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herald Kersselaers should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles-Louis Gobelijns in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herald Kersselaers saved RSC Hoegaarden from getting behind. If Mario Raaymakers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Raaymakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Herald Kersselaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herald Kersselaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilian Van Haeght, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Herald Kersselaers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Raaymakers in the 81st minute of the match.
