Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Geoffry Uytterhaegen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rene De Kerpel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rens Deferme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wieme were furious when Alain De Jong was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 13th minute, one of Wieme:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wieme. Niels Neys shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jeremey Vissenaeckens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thijs Emeleers having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswald Van Bombergen in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rens Deferme saved Wieme from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Christofere Tael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molenheide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christofere Tael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremey Vissenaeckens struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Thijs Emeleers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wieme. Molenheide's Rene De Kerpel got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Rene De Kerpel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene De Kerpel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Deferme having to interfere. A collision led to Molenheide getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luk Carpenter hit a great ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Molenheide's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tibo Van Brusselen was slow to take the kick. During this time Wieme's players had a chance to rest. Jeremey Vissenaeckens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Thijs Emeleers made a huge save. A collision led to Wieme getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bertan Windelinckx hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Serge Leempoels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some careless play in the Wieme defense, Oswald Van Bombergen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rens Deferme. The Wieme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rens Deferme should have stopped the shot. After 66 played minutes Wieme got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Nijs. Jeremey Vissenaeckens struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Thijs Emeleers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wieme. 80 minutes into the match, Wieme's goal looked a bit too open when Rene De Kerpel came free, but Rens Deferme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Molenheide's Rens Deferme threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rene De Kerpel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Jeremey Vissenaeckens came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Wieme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremey Vissenaeckens couldn't finish the play. Rens Deferme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oswald Van Bombergen in the 93rd minute. If Oswald Van Bombergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rens Deferme made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Oswald Van Bombergen sent off a good shot on target. The Molenheide supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Molenheide would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
