The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dean Van Dessen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Tielen getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dean Van Dessen hit a great ball. Tibo Van Brusselen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evert-Jan Sempels. SC Tielen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffry Uytterhaegen in the 12th minute of play forced SC Tielen's goalkeeper Evert-Jan Sempels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wieme's Rens Deferme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manu Elens in the 17th minute of play. Rens Deferme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert-Jan Spoelberchs, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jeremey Vissenaeckens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Evert-Jan Sempels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manu Elens during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Tielen's Manu Elens got a free kick in the 28th minute. Evert-Jan Sempels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffry Uytterhaegen in the 34th minute of the match. Jeremey Vissenaeckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wieme's Geoffry Uytterhaegen in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Tielen's goalie prevented a goal. Dean Van Dessen got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to SC Tielen getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dean Van Dessen hit a great ball. SC Tielen's Evert-Jan Sempels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffry Uytterhaegen in the 41st minute of play. Niel Limpens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Rens Deferme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geoffry Uytterhaegen to strike the kick off in the second half. Geoffry Uytterhaegen struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Evert-Jan Sempels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wieme. Jeremey Vissenaeckens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert-Jan Sempels having to interfere. Geoffry Uytterhaegen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert-Jan Sempels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Gert-Jan Spoelberchs hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Wieme's Tibo Van Brusselen tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Wieme booed when SC Tielen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brecht Eggers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert-Jan Sempels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremey Vissenaeckens in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Tielen's goalkeeper Evert-Jan Sempels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee ignored SC Tielen's protests and gave Gert-Jan Spoelberchs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Gert-Jan Spoelberchs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wieme's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
