With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurence Izemborgh in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilliam Van Hoegaerden saved KFC Vlijtingen from getting behind. Anthoon Vercouteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tibau Roose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Van Langendonckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Tibau Roose made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthoon Vercouteren in the 48th minute of play forced Wiekevorst's goalkeeper Tibau Roose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jason Tubbackx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthoon Vercouteren in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal.
