After a rather tough play, VC Niemandshoek's Martin Imbrechts got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Laermans in the 4th minute of play forced VC Niemandshoek's goalkeeper Dre Heirremans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henk Laermans during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henk Laermans hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Bruno Van den Inde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benne Huytterhoeven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederik Selleslags went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th match minute, VC Niemandshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siebe Maeijnaerts to maneuver through the defense. Kristiaan Hennes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristiaan Hennes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Dre Heirremans made a huge save. After 34 played minutes VC Niemandshoek got a freekick which was hit by Siebe Maeijnaerts. Kristiaan Hennes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dre Heirremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, AFC Neufch's Henk Laermans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 45 minutes, Bruno Van den Inde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC Niemandshoek and the AFC Neufch players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bruno Van den Inde kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Henk Laermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dre Heirremans having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Frederik Selleslags made the kick off in the second half. Frederik Selleslags received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benne Huytterhoeven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dre Heirremans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristiaan Hennes in the 57th minute of the match. VC Niemandshoek's Frederik Selleslags got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristiaan Hennes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dre Heirremans having to interfere. Kristiaan Hennes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dre Heirremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kristiaan Hennes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, VC Niemandshoek's goal looked a bit too open when Kristiaan Hennes came free, but Dre Heirremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristiaan Hennes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dre Heirremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Laermans in the 91st minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
