Henk Laermans struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Xavier Naegels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Neufch. Henk Laermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Xavier Naegels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Steven Bossuyt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Timmy Van Deyck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benne Huytterhoeven skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Jonckers in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benne Huytterhoeven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristiaan Hennes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xavier Naegels firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Voorshoven's zone, Henk Laermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Naegels came out of the goal and Henk Laermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Jonckers took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benne Huytterhoeven. Benne Huytterhoeven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, AFC Neufch's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Jonckers came free, but Benne Huytterhoeven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AFC Neufch getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Steven Bossuyt hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Joel Jonckers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Voorshoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Jonckers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, KFC Voorshoven's Jelle Beullens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benne Huytterhoeven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of KFC Voorshoven booed when AFC Neufch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Bossuyt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Joel Jonckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Huytterhoeven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC Neufch's Steven Bossuyt got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Steven Bossuyt off the ground. Joel Jonckers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benne Huytterhoeven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Jonckers to strike the kick off in the second half. Lauren Meeuwissen's late challenge caught a AFC Neufch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lauren Meeuwissen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KFC Voorshoven's Lauren Meeuwissen got a free kick in the 58th minute. Benne Huytterhoeven came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Voorshoven's Jelle Beullens. But to his dismay, Jelle Beullens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jelle Beullens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Benne Huytterhoeven made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Neufch's zone, Joel Jonckers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benne Huytterhoeven came out of the goal and Joel Jonckers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AFC Neufch's Benne Huytterhoeven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Jonckers in the 72nd minute of play. Jelle Beullens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of AFC Neufch:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KFC Voorshoven:s goal. In the 77th minute, KFC Voorshoven got a penalty, and Timmy Van Deyck placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Xavier Naegels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristiaan Hennes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennert Liebrechts hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Kristiaan Hennes struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, KFC Voorshoven's Jelle Beullens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benne Huytterhoeven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. If Jelle Beullens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benne Huytterhoeven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Jonckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KFC Voorshoven walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
