Ward Gressens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franky Uyterhelcht hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Teun Dauwen came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the KSV Amay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teun Dauwen couldn't finish the play. Fred Versluys showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Gregorie Berchmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottignies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorie Berchmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xander-Paul De Middeleer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Versluys, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Fred De Keuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
After 52 played minutes KSV Amay got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Van Cauwenberg. After 59 played minutes KSV Amay got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Fierens. After taking down the ball on Ottignies's corner Luka Spoelberchs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xander-Paul De Middeleer quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fred De Keuster managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Amay's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred De Keuster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ward Gressens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to KSV Amay getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pino Vloeberghs hit a great ball. Xander-Paul De Middeleer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorie Berchmans in the 70th minute of play. If Gregorie Berchmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teun Dauwen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 81st playminute. When Franky Uyterhelcht was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Fred De Keuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ward Gressens having to interfere. Xander-Paul De Middeleer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorie Berchmans in the 92nd minute of the match. If Fred De Keuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
