Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frits Kerkhofs started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Frits Kerkhofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aime Vereyt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herve Van Den Eynde in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joop Huybreghts saved Muggenberg from getting behind. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Woumen's goalkeeper Aime Vereyt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joost Van Der Talen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Joost Van Der Talen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joop Huybreghts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Armand Teunens kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Armand Teunens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Woumen and the Muggenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Armand Teunens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aime Vereyt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bavo Enskens in the 25th minute. KFC Woumen's Aime Vereyt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save KFC Woumen from getting a goal against them. Rajmond Van den Wyngaert charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rajmond Van den Wyngaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KFC Woumen's Rajmond Van den Wyngaert got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 37 minutes, Joost Van Der Talen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Woumen and the Muggenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joost Van Der Talen hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Bavo Enskens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muggenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Bavo Enskens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aime Vereyt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half KFC Woumen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Frits Kerkhofs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muggenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frits Kerkhofs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bavo Enskens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, KFC Woumen's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Kerkhofs came free, but Aime Vereyt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Muggenberg's zone, Joost Van Der Talen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joop Huybreghts came out of the goal and Joost Van Der Talen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Muggenberg's Evert-Jan Van Emelen got a free kick in the 66th minute. Mickael Velkeneers's shot from long distance in the 67th minute was not bad at all, but Muggenberg's Joop Huybreghts knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Joop Huybreghts made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Joost Van Der Talen sent off a good shot on target. If Joost Van Der Talen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Bavo Enskens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muggenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bavo Enskens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, KFC Woumen's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Kerkhofs came free, but Aime Vereyt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Armand Teunens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Muggenberg's Frits Kerkhofs in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Woumen's goalie prevented a goal. Bavo Enskens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aime Vereyt having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play KFC Woumen's Armand Teunens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Armand Teunens kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KFC Woumen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
