Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edward Baumans made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Elene's goal looked a bit too open when Evert-Jan De Vleeschauwere came free, but Dolf Bernage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Jullian Kerckmans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan Colebinders. KV Genappe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jullian Kerckmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Richmond Rosseels kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Sylvain De Putter had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Van Den Wijngaert during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KV Genappe booed when Elene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Van Den Wijngaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jullian Kerckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elene's Edward Baumans managed to work through KV Genappe's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edward Baumans dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 42nd match minute, Elene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Van Beersel to maneuver through the defense. Dolf Bernage made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Freek Smolders sent off a good shot on target. Dylan Colebinders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Baumans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dylan Colebinders came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Elene's Jullian Kerckmans. But to his dismay, Jullian Kerckmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Edward Baumans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Colebinders having to interfere. Dylan Colebinders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Baumans, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Richmond Rosseels kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KV Genappe's zone, Jullian Kerckmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Colebinders came out of the goal and Jullian Kerckmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edward Baumans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freek Smolders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dolf Bernage read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Edward Baumans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dylan Colebinders, 0-4. Edward Baumans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dylan Colebinders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jullian Kerckmans in the 82nd minute. Freek Smolders might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dolf Bernage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freek Smolders ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jullian Kerckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
