Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Matthew Debock started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Knokke-Heist's Luc Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Lanfan in the 4th minute of play. With his leg Thobias Quintens managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Knokke-Heist's Matthew Debock fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Knokke-Heist's Luc Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roben Lambrecht in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Diederiek Ingelborchs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knokke-Heist and the KAA Wesemael players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diederiek Ingelborchs kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Matthew Debock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berten Nys hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Knokke-Heist's Paul Rijmenams got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Knokke-Heist's Matthew Debock in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KAA Wesemael's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Matthew Debock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thobias Quintens was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berten Nys in the 22nd minute of play forced Knokke-Heist's goalkeeper Luc Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roben Lambrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Lanfan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rudy Lanfan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diederiek Ingelborchs hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Lanfan in the 31st minute of play forced Knokke-Heist's goalkeeper Luc Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Knokke-Heist's Matthew Debock ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thobias Quintens. Thobias Quintens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 44th match minute, Knokke-Heist was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Cappels to maneuver through the defense. Roben Lambrecht kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Knokke-Heist's goalkeeper Luc Verduin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudy Lanfan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Van Deinze during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Knokke-Heist:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KAA Wesemael:s goal. The audience was convinced that Matthew Debock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thobias Quintens was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Matthew Debock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudy Lanfan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Knokke-Heist's goal looked a bit too open when Berten Nys came free, but Luc Verduin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Rijmenams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roben Lambrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luc Verduin having to interfere. Roben Lambrecht struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Luc Verduin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Wesemael. Bob Rogiers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Thobias Quintens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthew Debock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thobias Quintens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, KAA Wesemael's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Rogiers came free, but Thobias Quintens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, KAA Wesemael's Berten Nys got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by KAA Wesemael's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Greg Sannen was slow to take the kick. During this time Knokke-Heist's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Greg Sannen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thobias Quintens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. KAA Wesemael's Thobias Quintens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Rogiers in the 98th minute of play. Knokke-Heist were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KAA Wesemael for a fine match.
