He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mattias Gijsbrechts. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pino Correyns in the 10th minute of play forced KFC Franchimont's goalkeeper Mattias Gijsbrechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joop Van Hoyveldt hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Pino Correyns hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, KFC Franchimont's goal looked a bit too open when Pino Correyns came free, but Mattias Gijsbrechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles-Antoine De Mijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitry Goethals, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rens Van den Driesch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zandhoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Rens Van den Driesch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Gijsbrechts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Axel Blocks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattias Gijsbrechts came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Zandhoven's Rens Van den Driesch. But to his dismay, Rens Van den Driesch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Dimitry Goethals took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Charles-Antoine De Mijer to make any attempt to save it. If Joop Van Hoyveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Zandhoven's Charles-Antoine De Mijer got control of the ball when Gillis Van Damme tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pino Correyns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Franchimont's zone, Pino Correyns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zandhoven's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
