Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Philipp Elssen kicked off to start the match. Matty Van Den Abeele hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Erwin Van Hecke managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Kortemark's supporters rose to their feet, but Erwin Van Hecke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaetan Huijberechts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nick Van den Gans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Hylen in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes VC Kortemark got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Wigghers. Gaetan Huijberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Elssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Berlaere's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Elssen came free, but Gaetan Huijberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Elssen in the 18th minute of play forced Berlaere's goalkeeper Gaetan Huijberechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaetan Huijberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Van Hecke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philipp Elssen struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gaetan Huijberechts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Kortemark. In the 26th match minute, Berlaere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Van Hinnendaels to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dolf Verhaegen in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nick Van den Gans saved VC Kortemark from getting behind. Dolf Verhaegen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Van den Gans having to interfere. The supporters of Berlaere booed when VC Kortemark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joost Lijsens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, VC Kortemark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Wigghers to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dolf Verhaegen made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as VC Kortemark's Philipp Elssen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaetan Huijberechts. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Philipp Elssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gaetan Huijberechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaetan Huijberechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Elssen in the 72nd minute of the match. Noel Hylen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nick Van den Gans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Van Hecke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaetan Huijberechts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Erwin Van Hecke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaetan Huijberechts having to interfere. Henrik Van den Enden kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Joost Lijsens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
