Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Gregoire Van Gheel fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KSV Assebroek's protests and gave Gregoire Van Gheel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, KSV Assebroek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregoire Van Gheel to maneuver through the defense. Andrew De Bisschop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 9 minutes, Ivo Van Meirhaeghe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baal and the KSV Assebroek players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivo Van Meirhaeghe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baal's goalkeeper Lucas Balckmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baal! Alfons Vandewalle walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ivo Van Meirhaeghe hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Baal's goal looked a bit too open when Niel Rogiers came free, but Lucas Balckmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niel Rogiers scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Balckmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niel Rogiers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Balckmans having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KSV Assebroek's Gregoire Van Gheel got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lucas Balckmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niel Rogiers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes, Maarten Fouquet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baal and the KSV Assebroek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Baal's Maarten Fouquet got a free kick in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Andreas Ramps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Assebroek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Ramps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
Andreas Ramps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lucas Balckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baal's Roel Van der Voert got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenz Steurms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roel Van der Voert in the 58th minute of play. Baal's Lucas Balckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niel Rogiers in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Roel Van der Voert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baal's supporters rose to their feet, but Roel Van der Voert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenz Steurms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Niel Rogiers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to KSV Assebroek getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bill Hollanders hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Andreas Ramps got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Niel Rogiers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Balckmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play Baal's Maarten Fouquet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Baal got a freekick which was hit by Maarten Fouquet. The KSV Assebroek supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KSV Assebroek would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
