Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Philipp Elssen made the kick off which started today's match. Erwin Van Hecke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Lucas Balckmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 4thth minute of the game Philipp Elssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baal's Lucas Balckmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luckas Lanfan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Nick Van den Gans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristen Olbrechts's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in VC Kortemark's zone, Kristen Olbrechts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nick Van den Gans came out of the goal and Kristen Olbrechts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in VC Kortemark fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Baal a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andrew De Bisschop, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VC Kortemark's Nick Van den Gans. 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, VC Kortemark's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Olbrechts came free, but Nick Van den Gans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, VC Kortemark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joost Lijsens to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Balckmans came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by VC Kortemark's Erwin Van Hecke. But to his dismay, Erwin Van Hecke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 47th minute, Andrew De Bisschop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristen Olbrechts made a kick off. If Roel Van der Voert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristen Olbrechts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joost Lijsens hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Baal's Nick Van den Gans threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kristen Olbrechts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Erwin Van Hecke came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the VC Kortemark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Van Hecke couldn't finish the play. Philipp Elssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lucas Balckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Van Hecke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Jannis Geldhof ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nick Van den Gans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Roel Van der Voert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nick Van den Gans having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Baal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
