Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niel Rogiers got the match started through his kick off. Noel Hylen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lorenz Steurms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes KSV Assebroek got a freekick which was hit by Gregoire Van Gheel. If Dolf Verhaegen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Noel Hylen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berlaere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Hylen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Berlaere's goalkeeper Gaetan Huijberechts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Ramps. If Noel Hylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenz Steurms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Verheije in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dolf Verhaegen made a kick off. Andreas Ramps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gaetan Huijberechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes Berlaere's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfons Vandewalle who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on KSV Assebroek's corner Alfons Vandewalle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gaetan Huijberechts quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute, Niel Rogiers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaetan Huijberechts was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Niel Rogiers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Noel Hylen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Verhaegen in the 72nd minute of play forced KSV Assebroek's goalkeeper Lorenz Steurms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Paulus Koppens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSV Assebroek and the Berlaere players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KSV Assebroek getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Paulus Koppens hit a great ball. Dolf Verhaegen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Capellemans kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Noel Hylen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Lorenz Steurms skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Dolf Verhaegen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KSV Assebroek were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Berlaere for a fine match.
