Bertan Gyselinck struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Bernt Rijmenans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Zingem. A collision led to Club Zingem getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Casper Van Camp hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, Club Zingem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Van Houdtvinck to maneuver through the defense. Jochen Gevaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewout Van Linthaudt in the 16th minute of play. When Ewout Van Linthaudt fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Erpe's protests and gave Ewout Van Linthaudt a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KFC Erpe getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ewout Van Linthaudt hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Casper Van Camp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KFC Erpe's Bernt Rijmenans. Bernt Rijmenans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 33 minutes, Ewout Van Linthaudt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Erpe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ewout Van Linthaudt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Provoost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Provoost got free with Jochen Gevaert in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gery Ruttens in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernt Rijmenans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernt Rijmenans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy De Vreese in the 43rd minute of play. Jochen Gevaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewout Van Linthaudt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerry Vranken got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Club Zingem getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. In the 48th minute of the match, Nicolas Provoost got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jochen Gevaert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The KFC Erpe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Zingem were winning 0-1.

After 59 minutes of play, KFC Erpe's Ewout Van Linthaudt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jochen Gevaert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casper Van Camp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bernt Rijmenans made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ewout Van Linthaudt in the 69th minute of play forced Club Zingem's goalkeeper Jochen Gevaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Zingem's Casper Van Camp was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Jimmy De Vreese fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Zingem's protests and gave Jimmy De Vreese a yellow card for diving instead. Bernt Rijmenans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Van Camp in the 83rd minute. A hard shot 85 in the game by Casper Van Camp from a close distance when the talented Bernt Rijmenans managed to make a qualified save. KFC Erpe's players were relieved. If Nicolas Provoost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Ewout Van Linthaudt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Erpe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Nicolas Provoost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
