Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramon Verheyden kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolphe Wouters got free with Jeffrey Depelsmaker in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rudi Imbrechs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan Clijsters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Armand Kest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jeffrey Depelsmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwen Jacobs kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, KAA Alphelaar's Jeffrey Depelsmaker got control of the ball when Adolphe Wouters tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, KAA Alphelaar's goalkeeper Jeffrey Depelsmaker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolphe Wouters. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vanrunkelen's zone, Ramon Verheyden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Clijsters came out of the goal and Ramon Verheyden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Ramon Verheyden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vanrunkelen's Dylan Clijsters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramon Verheyden struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Dylan Clijsters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Alphelaar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armand Kest to make the kick off. Ramon Verheyden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to KFC Vanrunkelen getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Georges-Philippe Delamenin hit a great ball. When KFC Vanrunkelen's Armand Kest in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KAA Alphelaar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute of the match Sebbe Wynaerts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeffrey Depelsmaker skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st minute, Armand Kest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, KAA Alphelaar's goal looked a bit too open when Armand Kest came free, but Jeffrey Depelsmaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Ramon Verheyden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dylan Clijsters. Ramon Verheyden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 82 minutes into the match, Ramon Verheyden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan Clijsters. KFC Vanrunkelen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Verheyden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 88 minutes into the match, Adolphe Wouters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeffrey Depelsmaker. If Rudi Imbrechs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Clijsters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremie Van Beringen in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
