Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaac Lambrechts started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Wadelincourt's goalkeeper Basiel Vrankx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Pascal Stroobant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KV Vleteren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 11 played minutes Club Wadelincourt got a freekick which was hit by Andre Wilmots. In the 15th match minute, Club Wadelincourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger De Fever to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Stroobant in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Wadelincourt's goalkeeper Basiel Vrankx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Wadelincourt's Basiel Vrankx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Oliviers in the 23rd minute of play. Basiel Vrankx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Oliviers in the 32nd minute of the match. Basiel Vrankx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Oliviers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basiel Vrankx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, KV Vleteren's Max Oliviers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basiel Vrankx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freek Meersmans during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KV Vleteren booed when Club Wadelincourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freek Meersmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Club Wadelincourt's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Stroobant came free, but Basiel Vrankx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Oliviers to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Roger De Fever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th match minute, Club Wadelincourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freek Meersmans to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Stroobant received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basiel Vrankx came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascal Stroobant slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Max Oliviers sped through Club Wadelincourt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basiel Vrankx. Robbe Roockeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Thys in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KV Vleteren's zone, Isaac Lambrechts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbe Roockeloes came out of the goal and Isaac Lambrechts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as KV Vleteren's Max Oliviers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basiel Vrankx. That made the score 0-4 after 75 minutes of play. When Isaac Lambrechts came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Club Wadelincourt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Lambrechts couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes Club Wadelincourt got a freekick which was hit by Freek Meersmans. Basiel Vrankx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascal Stroobant in the 84th minute. Max Oliviers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basiel Vrankx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
