Lorenz Vanpevenaeyge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Lierde's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelis Uijtterhoven came free, but Diego Wagemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Wagemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boudewijn Goddez in the 28th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenz Vanpevenaeyge made a kick off. Andy De Roest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Diego Wagemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th match minute, Lierde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Mangelschot to maneuver through the defense. FC Elst's Boudewijn Goddez got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Andy De Roest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Elst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy De Roest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Lierde getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nickolas Pancken hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boudewijn Goddez in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Wagemans saved Lierde from getting behind. Diego Wagemans didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Elst's Boudewijn Goddez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Lierde getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alex Vercruysse hit a great ball. Boudewijn Goddez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Diego Wagemans made a huge save. Boudewijn Goddez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
